10/7/13: What is a Business Plan?

What is a business plan? according to Glencoe Marketing Essentials  textbook a business plan is a proposal that outlines a strategy to turn a business idea into a reality. In other words a business plan allows the entrepreneur to successful outline what he/she needs to accomplish in order to be successful. However a business plan can be a struggle, because most entrepreneurs don’t really know the basics on how to opporate, and successfully create a business. For example i’m doin g a business plan on a make believe international food and product distruter, not really know the legistics of international business its a little tough when coming up with ideas. Finally a business plan just allows an entrepreneur to successful increase his/her chances of not failing in his/her first year, and also  allows for strategic planning, and goal that have to be accomplished.

9/6/13 Advantages and Disadvantages of Entrepreneurship

In being an entrepreneur there are risks and rewards, like wise: paying all the expense, finding advertising, finding others to work for you, high level of stress, risk of failure, loss of money, strong self discapline; and basically everything is done on your own are all disadvantages. Although theses can be set back for some people to start up a business, there are major advantages for working for yourself: you are the boss, all the money you make comes to you, no time schedule; and increased self-esteem can really pay off to your success.

9/5/13: Entrepreneurship

What is Entrepreneurship? Entrepreneurship is the process of starting and operating your own business, by which anyone can become and enterpreneur. However there are risks, of becoming an enterpreneur like wise: paying all the expense, finding advertising, finding others to work for you, high level of stress, risk of failure, loss of money, strong self discapline; and basically everything is done on your own. Although these can be set back for some people to start up a business, there are major advantages for working for yourself: you are the boss, all the money you make comes to you, no time schedule; and increased self-esteem.Overall the struggles, and satifaction of being an enterpreneur can help establish a great ecomony for a country. Personally I’ve had my fair share of entrepreneurship failures, for one I had my own personal photography business, and did’nt make to much money, however I did make it more appealing to people about a month ago when I changed it to the Student Photography Project, allowing students to sell their photography for free while earning a comission for each photo they sell. However with managing it I really needed more money for advertising, so lately I’m in the process of creating an affiliate marking business in order to fill my financial needs for the Student Photography Project, which even though its going to cost me around six to seven hundred dollars to start it up, I started earlier which will benefit me in the next couple of years as I go through my schooling. Finally being an entrepreneur takes a lot of work then just going out for a job, however more benefits come from being an entrepreneur then just working for someone else, and overall helps you make more personal money.

8/28/13 My Opinion of the “New” TJ

My honest opinion, I do think these rules are going to improve certain aspects of the problems that have been at TJ. However some of the rules that Mrs. Morris Sherer has enforced have defiantly irritated the majority of the student body, yet after going through all my classes even some of the teachers are afraid of her because as my 8th period teacher said that basically “its her way or the highway”. By that, personally, I’m not worried about anything I’ve already gotten into good terms with Mrs.Morris Sherer in the few times I’ve talked with her over the summer she seems like shes doing it for the better good of the school. Another problem I really have though is the tardy policy, even though I’ve never been late in my entire high school career, just seeing around one hundred or more kids in dentition really surprised me, personally seeing all the drama last night being posted on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.. this may or may not, eventually get out of hand to the point where people will just start leaving TJ. Overall the “New” TJ will benefit in the long run, however coming into a school after having such a laid back principal, and having a strict principal  is defiantly the biggest epidemic that has occurred in all the four years since I’ve been at TJ.
